William Jeffrey “Jeff” Hash, 68, of New Windsor, MD passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, May 29, 2026.
Jeff was the beloved husband of Luann E. Hash for 41 years.
Born August 26, 1957 in Montgomery County, MD, he was the son of the late William Hash and Susan (Hilliard) Hash.
Jeff spent most of his working life as an Auto Mechanic. Additionally, he was an Independent Distributor for Matco Tools for several years. He was a member of Prudence Lodge 190 of Mt. Airy, MD. He was also a member of Poplar Springs United Methodist Church, Mt. Airy, MD.
Jeff enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially fishing, camping and Skeet shooting. He liked to work with his Ham radios and anything mechanical.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are his children William Jackson (Jack) Hash and Gabrielle E. Wolfes and her husband Spencer Wolfes and granddaughter Samantha Wolfes. Also survived by his siblings Jonathan Hash & wife Maria, and Elizabeth Simmers & husband Randy, his father-in-law Calvin O. Pickett and family, nieces and a nephew.
The family will receive friends on Monday, June 8, 2026 from 3-5 PM with a funeral service beginning at 5 PM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, 1212 West Old Liberty Road Sykesville, MD 21784 (beside South Carroll High School).
Graveside service on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at 11 AM at Poplar Springs United Methodist Church cemetery, 915 East Watersville Road Mt. Airy, MD 21771.
