William Eugene Baum, III, age 49, of Frederick, died and went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at College View Center in Frederick MD, after a seven month battle with lung cancer.
He was born May 12, 1964 in Baltimore, MD, the son of Faye Ann Ward (nee Kilby) of Salisbury, MD and the late William Eugene Baum II.
He was a very kind and gentle man. The family would like to thank Carroll Hospice and College View Center for all the help, love and support given to William during his sickness.
Also survived by his caregiver and brother Timothy Matthews of Mt. Airy and Tim’s dad Robert “Pop” Haines of Mt. Airy; sisters Anita Shifflet, Kathy Harrison and Laura Bell and numerous aunts and uncles.
Friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield, (Beside South Carroll High School) on Monday, January 27, 2014 from 12:00 Noon-12:30PM at which time service will begin at 12:30 PM, with Bishop Ross Jackson and Rev. Loren Fetty officiating.
Interment Prospect U.M. Church Cemetery in Mt. Airy, MD.
