Violet Homens

Violet “Tomi” Loretta Barnhart Homens, 77 of Eldersburg, MD, died Tuesday November 20, 2007 at Carroll Hospice’s Dove House in Westminster . She was the spouse of the late Ernest A. Homens. She was born February 22, 1930 in Libertytown , MD the daughter of the late Ellwood Barnhart and late Hester Hornbaker Barnhart. She was retired from C&P Telephone as a switchboard operator and also worked with Affiliated Contractors. Surviving her are Son and daughter-in-law: Henry M. and Sharon Miller of Arnold , MD Daughter: Bonnie J. Berg of Linthicum , MD Son and daughter-in-law Brian B. and Tina Miller of Linthicum, MD. Sisters: Mabel Harrison, Isabelle Payne and Lolita Renehan. Brothers: Kenneth and Ronald Barnhart. Also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by brothers Jobie and Glenn Barnhart. Funeral Services will be held Friday November 23, 2007 10 Am at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home and Crematory, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd. Winfield , MD where the family will receive friends from 9 AM until time of service. Interment will be in Meadowridge Memorial Park , Elkridge , MD.
