Victor E. Kolk, Sr., 77, of Dundalk, MD, passed away on Sunday, on April 27, 2025.
He was the beloved husband of the late Linda A. Kolk (nee Shock).
Victor was born March 4, 1948, in Baltimore, MD the son of the late Vernon F. Kolk and the late Estelle May Kolk (nee Gouker).
Victor was drafted into the Army shortly after marriage serving 2 tours in Vietnam earning him a sharp shooter medal and Purple Heart. He was welcomed back home by his wife and family. He loved being a truck driver for over 30 plus years. He was a very good bowler in his younger years. He enjoyed watching westerns, wrestling, football and baseball. He loved spending time with his grandchildren during holidays and special events. He was a dedicated father who worked tirelessly to provide for his family and will be missed terribly.
He is survived by his children: Victor E. Kolk, Jr., Michael D. Kolk, Korina L. Thibault, Kimberley D. Phelps, and James V. Kolk. __Also survived by his grandchildren Aeimaelesia, Dylan, Thomas, John, Candice, Austin, Tyler, Jaylah and Noah. Survived by great grandchildren Emma, Talia, Bailey, Grayson, Viviane, Trace and Lainey.
The family will receive friends and family on Thursday, May 1, 2025, from 3-5 & 7-9 PM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. 1212 West Old Liberty Road Sykesville, MD 21784 (beside South Carroll High school), where funeral service will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025, at 12 Noon
