Tina Virginia Pipes, age 45, of Sykesville, died Saturday, December 1, 2012 at Gilchrist Hospice Care Center in Columbia, MD.
She was born March 29, 1967 in Montgomery County, Maryland, the daughter of Harold Pipes and June Wright Pipes of Sykesville.
She graduated from Glenelg High School and went to Villa Julie College. She worked at NIST (National Institute of Technology in Gaithersburg as a secretary. She enjoyed working, crafts, painting, planting flowers in the spring, T.V., Playing Bingo with the friends, she like the 50’s music and old cars. She loved to Cook new recipes. She enjoyed going to Ocean City in the summer and decorating her home and taking care of her two Daschunds, Mary and Martha.
Surviving in addition to her parents are: son Richard Pianowski of Sykesville, brother Allen Pipes and wife Eva and their son Dennis Pipes of Sharpsburg, MD.
Friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Sykesville (Beside South Carroll High School) on Tuesday from 6-8 PM.
Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at 11:00 AM at St. James U.M. Church, 12470 Old Frederick Road (Rt. 99), Marriottsville, MD 21794 with Rev. Lori Hays and Rev. DaeHwa Park officiating.
Interment Mt. View Cemetery, Mt. View Road.
