Thelma Louise Power 91 of Mt. Airy. Died November 2, 2012 at the Dove House
She was the spouse of the late Vance W. Power , She was born January 14, 1921 in Lynchburg, VA the daughter of the late Charles Richard Thompson and the late Ollie Gray (Maddox) Power
She was retired after 25 years with the MD Department of Motor Vehicles, She enjoyed traveling the United States with her Little Doxen and camper. She also loved crocheting and crossword puzzles. She was a member of the Baltimore Chapter of JOBS Daughters. Surviving her are Daughter and Son-in-law Brenda and Al “Bunky” Daniels of Mt. Airy, Grandson Allen and wife Sheena Daniels, Granddaughter Dana and husband Brooks Coleman, Great-granddaughters Stephanie, Heather and Amber Daniels and Brittany Coleman. Also survived by Nieces Cynthia and husband Ray Street and Rose and husband Stanley Graham and Nephew Gwinn Hess and a numerous other nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by brother Charles R. Thompson and great granddaughter Christine L. Coleman.
The Family will receive friends on Tuesday November 6, 2012 11:30 to 12:30 PM when Services will take place at BURRIER-QUEEN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd.
