Terry Bankert, age 60, of Westminster, died Thursday, November 22, 2012, at home.
He was born October 5, 1952 in Baltimore, MD he was the son of Neuman E. Bankert, Sr. and Anna K. Bankert (nee Fischer) of Westminster, MD.
He was a 1970 graduate of South Carroll High School. He was a retired meat cutter from Shoppers Food Warehouse, Olney, MD.
Surviving in addition to his parents are brother Neuman E. Bankert, Jr. and wife, JoAnn of Columbia, MD, sister Susan Six and husband Brett of Taneytown, MD, nieces and nephews, Melissa Talbot and husband Aaron, Matthew Bankert and wife Bethany, Melody Bankert, Mark Bankert and wife Heather, Bethany Six and Scott Six., and great nephew and great nice, Wesley and Vivienne Talbot. He was predeceased by grandparents Edgar and Mary Wisner Bankert and Edmund and Johanna Steidten Fischer.
The family will receive friends on Monday, November 26, 2012 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield (Beside South Carroll High School); where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Charles Frederick of Messiah Lutheran Church and Rev. Gary Buchman of Emmittsburg Community Bible Church officiating.
Interment in Highland View Cemetery, Berrett, MD.
