Mr. Sydney O. Smith, 91 of Senior Constant Care in Winfield, died Thursday October 26, 2004 at Senior Constant Care.
He was born May 12, 1913 in Lakewood, OH the son of the late Harry and late Lillian M. Hoffer Smith. He was a career Army veteran serving in both WWII and the Korean War. He loved the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal savior. He also enjoyed the outdoor and was an avid reader.
He is survived by Daughter and son-in-law Louise and Charles Horner of New Windsor, Son and daughter-in-law Benny and Susan Antonishek Mardones of Los Angeles, CA Grandchildren : Peter and Kathlene O’Toole, Scott and Amanda Carter, Sara Horner, Michael Mardones, U.S. Navy. Great Grandchildren: Grace, Harry, Patrick and Anabelle.
Funeral Services will be held Monday November 1, 2004 9 AM at Winfield Bible Chapel 5407 Woodbine Rd. Woodbine, MD 21797
Interment Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery, Owings Mills
The family will receive friends at BURRIER-QUEEN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, P.A. 1212 West Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD 21784 on Sunday 3-5 and 7-9 PM.
