Shirley Raimondo age 84 peacefully passed to her eternal home on Monday, October 2, 2023 at 12:36 pm. surrounded by her family at her daughters home in Woodbine, MD.
She was born February 28, 1939 to Enoch and Daisy Scalf and was the only child.
Shirley was married to Antonio Raimondo on January 1,1957 who has preceded Shirley.
Shirley will be forever remembered for her love of Jesus this was her first love. Secondly, for her timeless devotion to her second love, her husband Antonio Raimondo.
Shirley was an amazing mother and wife. Her life lived here on this side of heaven was dedicated by devoting her life to care for her husband Antonio and her five children and her grandchildren.
Shirley is survived by her daughter Susan Hawkins and husband Lee Kiessling along with her three children Christine, Caleb and Jacob.
Her daughter Nancy Owings and husband Michael along with their son Stephen and his wife Lexi and son Aaron
Her daughter Loretta Raimondo.
Her daughter Anne Collison and husband Bob along with their four children Patricia, Nick, Trey Alyssa Wilton and her husband Brandon.
Her son John Raimondo and wife Cibele along with their three children Isabella, Antonio and Nicholas.
We will always carry Shirley’s memory in our hearts because of the way she lived her life out.
Her life has been full of love and compassion for others.
Her dedication was loving the Lord and sharing her faith and encouraging words with those around her. Her desire to share the power of forgiveness and the gift of salvation was her passion and purpose in life.
Visitation will be held Sunday, October 8, 2023 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8 pm at BURRIER-QUEEN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd. Sykesville, MD where
Funeral Services will be held Monday 11 AM. Interment will be private in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery, Owings Mills, MD
