Shirley E. Hawkins (nee Murray), age 76, of Sykesville, died Friday, October 4, 2013 at Transitions Healthcare in Sykesville, MD.
She was born August 21, 1937 in Sykesville, MD the daughter of the late Alfred Murray and the late Sadie Ridley Murray.
She was the wife of W. LeRoy Hawkins for over 58 years.
She was a Housewife. She was a member of Free State Corvette Club and she was a Founding member of Freedom Airs Majorette and Drum core.
She was the mother of Lisa Marie Tingler and husband Mark of Finksburg and Susan Lynn Owens and husband Chuck of Westminster and the late Dale Allen Hawkins.
Sister of the late Clara Fleming.
Loving grandmother of Benjamin Tingler.
