Ryan Dwayne Hopper Harrison

Ryan Dwayne Hopper Harrison (Ryan), 49, of Frederick, MD passed away peacefully at home on Monday, April 13, 2026. He was born October 1, 1976, in Hot Springs, AR, to the late Deborah Elaine Harrison (ne: Ingram), and the late Lester Dwayne Hopper and adopted son of Francis Edward (Eddie) Harrison, Jr. Ryan is survived by his sisters, Sarah Elizabeth Harrison of Frederick, MD and Frances Eileen Harrison of Union Bridge, MD, his nieces and nephews: Raina, Nate, Rose, Teddy, and Tiffany. For more than 20 years, Ryan resided in the Way Station Program of Sheppard Pratt in Frederick, where he received compassionate care in a safe, supportive environment. He especially cherished his Monday night dinners with his father and/or family and friends. Ryan’s demons are now quiet, and he can truly rest in peace.

Family will receive friends on Monday, April 20, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home, 1212 W Old Liberty Rd., Sykesville, MD. A celebration of life and interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ryan’s name to sheppardpratt.org/donate/.
