Ronald Helmbright

Ronald Michael Helmbright, age 56 of Mt. Airy, MD, died Thursday, July 24, 2014 at Frederick Memorial Hospital in Frederick, MD.
Ronnie was born on November 28, 1957in Euclid, Ohio. He was the third son of Robert and Ada. He grew up in Mentor, Ohio with his four brothers and sister till his family moved to Geneva. He grew up there attending Geneva High School. He and his siblings were avid 4-H members living on the family farm and raising a variety of animals. He followed his parents to Kensington, Maryland 1988 and worked in the lumber industry for many years. Ron was one of the most personable persons God created. Anyone he met, either at work or play, ended up laughing and joking with Ron. He had a way to make people smile and made friends with those he met. One of his joys was riding his motorcycle and doing “runs” to help raise awareness of the juvenile diabetes. Ron was preceded in death by his parents and older brother. He is survived by his brothers-Greg, Terry, Bill and his sister, Cheryl Jean. He is also survived by Janet Hooe, her children, Roy, Candace, and Tommy and grandson little Roy as well as his “4 Legged children”- Dakota and Tyson. He loved them dearly.
Ron lived in Mt. Airy, MD until he went home to our Lord and to be with the rest of our Heavenly Family on July 24, 2014.
Friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Sykesville,(Beside South Carroll High School) on Tuesday from 7-9 PM; Memorial Service at 8:00 PM by family. Private Interment.
