Ronald G. Abigill, Sr. Profile Photo

Ronald George Abigill, Sr., of Woodbine, MD, passed on April 15, 2025, from complications of a spinal cord injury. Described as a “wonderful man” and a “tremendous friend” by those around him and known as “Pop” to both his biological and extended families, he served as a strong, loving role model to many and will be sorely missed.

After serving in Korea and retiring as a Captain from the MD Division of Correction, he created a small real estate brokerage and ran a methadone clinic. He leaves behind his only son Ronald Abigill, Jr. and his family (wife Elizabeth Abigill, sons Wesley and Daniel), his lovely fiancé Carole Hinton and her family (Michael and Nate Crochunis, and Michelle Sheahin), and a large loving family through his ex-wife Pam and husband RJ Przywara, as they remained close friends.

A memorial service will be held at 3pm on Friday, June 13th at Wesley Freedom United Methodist Church in Eldersburg, and there is space reserved at Black Ankle Vineyards from 4-9pm where we can all share memories.

In lieu of flowers please send donations to The Cro Foundation which was very close to his heart: www.thecrofoundation.org.
