Robert Thomas Hauf

Robert Thomas Hauf, age 78, of Hampstead, MD., formerly of Pikesville, MD., died Friday, November 21, 2025, at his home.

He was born on December 14, 1946, in Baltimore City, Maryland, the son of the late Charles Wright Hauf and the late Ruth Francis Hauf (nee Burham).

Bob was the husband of Linda S. Hauf (nee Robinson).

He was a Retired Sergeant for Baltimore County police department for 28 years; a retired State investigator for the Maryland Board of Nursing for 25 years; He was a member, Chairman and Trustee for Milford Mill U.M. Church in Pikesville for 15 years; he also enjoyed traveling.

In addition to his wife, Bob is survived by the Children of the Heart Jennifer Pyne and Raymond Burris; grandchildren Cody Burris, Gavin Burris, Alex Pyne, and Katie Pyne; also survived by his sister Ruthie Hauf.

Gathering of family and friends will be Monday, December 1, 2025 at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA., 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Sykesville, MD 21784 (Beside South Carroll High School) from 11:00am-12:00 NOON; at which time Celebration of Life Service will be begin at 12:00 Noon, with Pastor Sheri McCourt of St. Paul’s Methodist Church in New Windsor officiating. *Funeral will be Live Streamed at www.burrier-queen.com
