Richard Allen DeRita, Jr. 54 of Littlestown, PA, died Tuesday March 20, 2012 at Carroll Hospital Center. Former Spouse of Sarah DeRita of Westminster. He was born November 10, 1957 in Baltimore, MD. The Son of Richard Allen DeRita, Sr. and Edith E. (Petry)Naill and husband the late Dalton Naill. Mr. DeRita had worked at Northeastern Supply in Eldersburg, MD. He enjoyed Hunting, Fishing, Sports, Planting, Gardening and Cooking. He was a member of North American Hunt Club. Surviving him are Son Richard Allen DeRita, III of Westminster, Brother Jimmy DeRita of Cumberland, Brother and Sister-in-law Keith and Lynn DeRita of SC, Brother David and Lisa Cress of SC. Brother Kevin Naill of Littlestown, Sister and Brother-in-law Darlene and Vernon Odom of Westminster, Step-Daughter Holly Knox of Bonneville. Also Survived by 7 nieces and 8 nephews. Pre-ceded in death by Brother Kenneth Cress. Funeral Services will be Saturday March 24, 2012 11 AM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home and Crematory, PA 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD 21784. Interment will be in Bethany Cemetery New Windsor, MD . The Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Friday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. In lieu of flowers donations to help with funeral expenses may be made to Edith Naill 1245 Harney Rd. Littlestown, PA 17340.
