Regina Wells

Regina (Jeannie) Perrera Wells, age 73, of Monrovia, MD passed away on January 18, 2026. Born on July 22, 1952 in Baltimore, MD, Jeannie was a devoted mother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. Her love for life was evidenced by her hard-fought battle with health issues over the past 7+ years. Jeannie was educated at St. Katherine’s Business School in Baltimore and spent her entire career as a legal secretary.

Jeannie is survived by her loving son Christopher Calabrese, her sister and brother-in-law Kathy and Frank Sanzone, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who were like family. She was preceded in death by her son Frank Calabrese III, her parents William and Katherine Perrera, and her brother William Anthony (Tony) Perrera. Jeannie was a member of the Ladies of Landsdale 50+, a social group whose members she loved dearly.

A visitation and viewing will take place on Saturday, January 24, 2026, from 12 – 2 p.m. and 4-6 p.m. at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home, 1212 West Old Liberty Road, Winfield, MD 21784, with a brief prayer service at 5:45 PM.
