Reba Jeanette Burrier

Reba J. Burrier (nee Bohn), age 93, of Union Bridge, MD, died Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Frederick Health Care Center in Frederick, MD after a brief illness.

She was born May 6, 1932, in Uniontown, Maryland, the daughter of the late Clyde M. Bohn, Sr. and the late Letha Bohn (nee Blacksten).

She graduated from Frederick High School in the Class of 1950. She married her high school sweetheart Kenneth “Joe” Burrier in 1952 and enjoyed 73 years of marriage. Reba and Joe farmed their entire careers in Unionville, MD. In 1964, Reba and Joe earned the Outstanding Young Farmer of Maryland award. They were life long members of the Linganore United Methodist Church. Also, life members of Frederick County Farm Bureau and the Linganore Grange.

Reba’s greatest joy was spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband Joe, son David and wife Linda, daughter Sharon Orwig, and friend Tom Runion. Grandchildren Kim Yanike and husband Luke, Becky Burall and husband Jarrod, Rebecca Naill and husband Chris, Cindy Smith, and Natalie Orwig wife of deceased grandson Charlie Orwig. Great grandchildren Josie, Issac, Evan Yanike, Tyler, Jesse, Madelyn Burall, Brantlee and Evangeline Carter, Colton Orwig. She is also survived by sister-in-laws Joyce Bohn, Ada Bohn, Doris Arbaugh, Mary Ann Albaugh, Rosie Burrier, and brother-in-law Fred Burrier. She was predeceased by grandsons Charlie Orwig and Robert Lehr. Also, predeceased by brothers Ralph, Clarence, and Clyde Bohn, Jr., and sister Gloria Wilson. Also, predeceased by family Ruth Bohn, Perry Wilson, Paul and Verna Heffner, John and Ruth Ellen Burrier, John Arbaugh, Paul Albaugh, Frank Burrier, Evangeline Burrier, and Joan Burrier. Reba is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Sykesville, MD 21784 (Beside South Carroll High School) on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 from 5:00 PM- 8:00 PM; where Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2026 at 10:30 AM., with Rev. William Carpenter, Jr. officiating.

Interment will follow at Linganore Cemetery, Union Bridge, MD.
