Raymond Edward Mattison Sr., age 62 of Union Bridge, passed away on Wednesday, March 17th, 2021 at Carroll Hospital Center. He was born September 17th, 1958 in Baltimore, MD. Ray was the spouse of Mary Ann Mattison for 38 years.
Ray was the son of late Daniel and Pauline Mattison, brother to Daniel Mattison Jr. and wife Patricia, Linda Mattison and late husband Tom Vail III. He was the devoted father of Raymond Mattison Jr. and fiancé Catherine Arceo, Robert Mattison, and Brandy and husband Clarke Fischer. Ray loved his grandchildren Milo, Kalen and Rylan Mattison and step-granddaughter Angie Neil.
Ray was employed at Reese Volunteer Fire Company for 34 years and part time at Lineboro Volunteer Fire Company. He loved the fire department, farming, and spending time with family.
A celebration of life will be held at Reese Volunteer Fire Co. on Saturday, March 20, 2021 from 1-3pm with a memorial service immediately following with Deacon Charles Barnhart of Keysville Evangelical Lutheran Church. All family and friends are welcome.
