Patricia Arlene Henry

Patricia Arlene Henry (nee Wells), 78, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at York Hospital in York, PA.

Born on November 3, 1946, in Baltimore, MD, the daughter of the late Marvin W. Wells and Margarette M. Wells.

Patricia began her career at Union Hospital, where she not only forged a promising professional path but also met her beloved husband, James D. Henry, whom she married on August 15, 1973. After taking time to raise her children, Patricia returned to work as a monitor tech and unit manager at Carroll County Hospital, exemplifying her strong work ethic and unwavering dedication to helping others. Eventually, she stepped back from her career to provide support and care for her grandchildren, showcasing her nurturing spirit and deep family ties.

Patricia is survived by her loving husband, James D. Henry, and her children: Jennifer D. Myers and her significant other Derrick Shaffer, and James D. Henry, Jr. with his significant other Janie Blackwell. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Austin Boyer, Nicolas Boyer, Seth Navarro, Daniella Myers, Wyatt Henry, and Cole Yost. Also survived by her sister Polly Wells.

She was preceded in death by her brother Robin Wells.

Gathering of friends and family will be held on Sunday, May 18, 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1 PM at which time the Memorial Service will begin at 1 PM at Hope Chapel 75 Lamb Drive Westminster, MD 21158, following the service the family invites everyone for refreshments.

Graveside Inurnment will be held on Friday, May 23, 2025 at 10:45 AM at Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery 11501 Garrison Forest Rd, Owings Mills, MD 21117.
