Patricia A. Fitze (nee Collins), age 78, of Mt. Airy, Maryland, died Friday, April 3, 2026, at Lorien Taneytown.

She was the wife of the late Paul Edgar Fitze

She was born November 20, 1947, in Washington, DC, the daughter of the late John William Collins and the late Ella Collins (nee Hollifield).

She worked for Verizon Phone Company as a manager, she enjoyed sewing and embroidering; she was a member of the Church of Christ.

She was the devoted mother of Bonnie and husband John Williams of Westminster, Jenny and husband Dan Basgier of Hubert, NC., Also survived by three grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews; predeceased by siblings Alan K. Collins, Sr., Tamara Dawn Martinez, and Tina Eva Joyce.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at 1:00 PM with viewing one hour prior 12:00 noon-1:00PM at BURRIER-QUEEN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 1212 West Old Liberty Rd. Sykesville, MD 21784
