Oma “Lucy” Lucille (Segers) Buchanan, 92 of Eldersburg
Passed away Sunday, August 26, 2018 at home.
She was the Beloved wife of Wallace “Buck” Reed Buchanan.
Mrs. Buchanan was born April 2, 1926 in Cornelia, GA the daughter of the late Lonnie Estes Segers and late Rosalee Ona (Ballew) Segers.
Lucy loved her Savior Jesus Christ, loved her husband, family and friends well. She truly had a LIFE WELL LIVED. She was an active member of Elders Baptist church and sang in the church choir. She enjoyed sewing, quilting and cooking.
Surviving in addition to her husband are children: Donald Buchanan of Eldersburg, Keith and wife Bonnie Buchanan of Westminster and Nancy Moore of Keedysville. Loving sister of Carroll Segers, Johnny and wife Yvonne Segers and Ralph Segers. Also survived by 5 granddaughters, 12 great-grandchildren and 5 step-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Wednesday 6 to 8 PM at BURRIER-QUEEN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD 21784(beside S. Carroll High).
Funeral Services will take place Thursday, August 30, 2018 9:30 AM at Elders Baptist Church, 1216 Liberty Rd. Eldersburg, MD 21784. Interment Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery, Owings Mills, MD
