Died, Sunday June 22, 2014 at her home.
She was preceded in death by husband of 33 years Thomas Wilson Shipley, Jr.
She is survived by husband James G. Lutz, Jr.
Nancy was born April 12, 1949 in Baltimore, MD the daughter of the late Donna (Baer)and late E. Nelson Schroeder, Sr.
She started in 1981 as a Registered Nurse at St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore, was an active member of Ebenezer UMC, enjoyed gardening, traveling, making Ocean City Memories and spending time with family and friends.
Surviving in addition to her husband are Son and Daughter-in-law Steven T. and Laura R. Shipley of Westminster. Son David T. Shipley of Westminster, Step-daughter and son-in-law Kristin and Steve Wissig of Sykesville, Step-son and daughter-in-law Paul T. Vanderbilt and Kerstin Vanderbilt of Berlin Germany. Sister Phyllis Morsberger Brandt of Woodbine, Brother Edwin N. Schroeder, Jr. of Sydney Australia. Grandchildren Kaylee, Zoe, Emmy and Taylor Shipley, Sophie Vanderbilt, Lillian Wissig and adopted granddaughter Alessa Xenia.
A Gathering of Friends will be held on Friday, June 27, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at BURRIER-QUEEN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD .
Memorial Services will be held Saturday, June 28, 2014 2:00 PM at Wesley Freedom United Methodist Church 961 Johnsville Rd. Sykesville, MD 21784
