Mona Catherine Pickett, 86 of Charlestown, WV went to be with Jesus on Saturday, July 4, 2026.
Born on July 15, 1939, in Cumberland, MD the daughter of the late Etta Catherine Blizzard and the late John Delvin Bennett.
Mona loved her family, Jesus and golf. She managed Washington Village Apartments for 30 years, until retiring in May of 2007.
She is survived by her 3 children David Pickett, Jr., Roxanne Smisek and husband Ron who was her pizza buddy, and Terry Pickett; along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her 3 children Cherie Long, Tommy Pickett and Kevin Pickett.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, from 11:00 to 11:30 AM with funeral services at 11:30 AM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, 1212 West Old Liberty Road Sykesville, MD 21784 (beside South Carroll High School)
Interment at Lake View Memorial Park.
