Beloved wife of Richard Nolan and the late Clarence E. Kitchen.
She was born September 19, 1929 in Westover, PA the daughter of the late Joseph and late Hilda (Karnisky) Sass
Martha handled the administrative end of her first husband’s custom home business. She was also an accomplished seamstress and even made some of her own clothing and clothing for others. She loved music and singing and was a self- taught musician on several instruments including Wind Chimes, Accordion, Piano, Harmonica, Guitar, and Mandolin. She entertained people at nursing homes, anniversaries and birthday parties. She was a member of The String Band America. Martha loved to can, cook, and bake from scratch.

Dear sister of Edna Curry of Littlestown, PA, Janet Finch of Hampstead, MD and Frank Sass of Baltimore, MD .
Loving grandmother of Keven, Scott, Brad, Jenny, Doug, Ben, Morgan and David. Also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
