She was born September 3, 1932 in Baltimore, MD the daughter of the late John Oscar Gardner and the late Louise Augusta Gardner (nee Shade).
She was a housewife. She enjoyed crafts, ceramics and needlepoint.
She was the wife of John E. “Jack” Fitzberger.
She was the mother of Stephen Fitzberger of Catonsville, MD and David Fitzberger of North Carolina.
She was the sister of John Oscar Gardner of Jacksonville, FL, formerly of Randallstown.
She was the grandmother of Joshua (US Navy Seal), Grant, Casey and Jonathan Fitzberger.
Friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Sykesville (Beside South Carroll High School) on Sunday from 7-9 PM and Monday 2-4 & 7-9 PM; where funeral service will be Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at 11:00 AM with Dr. C.
