Kenneth Richard Green, Sr.

With heavy hearts we share the passing of Kenneth Richard Green, Sr., 83, of Eldersburg, MD on Saturday, February 14, 2026 passed away peacefully surrounded by family.

Born August 2, 1942, in Baltimore, MD the son of the late George Green and the late Lois Green (nee Zimmerman).

Ken worked as a driver for Mushroom Transportation, Charles A. Kline & Sons, and just recently retired from Len Stoler.

He had a genuine love of life and contagious laughter surrounded him. He enjoyed spending time hanging out with his family. He would instantly become friends with everyone he met and the laughs never stopped, bringing joy to all who got the privilege to know him. As a true animal lover, he almost always could be found with a dog by his side and taking care of his horses.

He is survived by his devoted children Richard Green & wife Shari, Kenny Green & wife Tracie, and Melinda Smith & husband Mike; stepson Richard Dunmiere. Grandchildren Shannon Green, Heather & husband Nick D’Amario, Brittany Hussle & husband Kevin, Melissa Carroll & husband Andrew, Kevin Lathe & wife Sarah and Mackenzie & fiancé Jeremy Dietrich; great-grandchildren Grace Bray, Skylar Benson, Hailey Fitzpatrick, Hannah Fitzpatrick, Nicole D’Amario, Charlotte Hussle, Josephine Hussle, Easton Carroll and Noah Lathe.

Also survived by one sister Dorothy Ambrose and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by 6 siblings.
