Kenneth L. Gordon

Kenneth Lee Gordon, age 88, of Finksburg, died Friday, October 10, 2025, after a brief illness. Born May 4, 1937, in Baltimore City, he was the son of the late Emma M. Stone and Earnest E. Gordon. He was the husband of the late Mary K. Gordon who died in 2020. Kenneth was a member of the Maryland National Guard before becoming self-employed, with Gordon Trucking. He was a lifelong member of the Bucs Club; he enjoyed old time cars and car shows. He especially loved spending time with family and friends, especially his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survived by his children, Debbie VanSant, Barbara and Charles Cullum, Denise and George Wright, Bob Strawbridge, and Ronnie and Sueanne Johnson. In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by his son, Stephen Harry and daughter, Bonnie Strawbridge.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, from 3-5 PM with a funeral service beginning at 5 PM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. 1212 West Old liberty Road Winfield, MD 21784 (Beside South Carroll High School).

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Humane Society of Carroll County, 2517 Littlestown Pike, Westminster, MD 21158 - Where Kenneth adopted his beloved kitty, Missy.
