Kenneth Eugene Frizzell, age 82, of Westminster, died Friday, January 23, 2026, at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster, MD.

Born on December 12, 1943, in Carroll County, Watersville, MD., Ken was the son of the late Truman Frizzell and the late Hazel Haines Frizzell, and was the husband of Rosalee Frizzell (nee Barber) for 62 years,

Ken was a building supervisor for South Carroll High School; he was a member of Winfield Vol. Fire Company since 1972, where he was an EMT for 9 years.

In addition to his wife, Ken is survived by his two sons Warren Keith Frizzell and partner Amy Garrison of Westminster, Curtis Wayne Frizzell and wife Jackie R. Frizzell, and the loves of his life, grandsons Jackson Kendall and Cole Monroe Frizzell. He was predeceased by brothers William Frizzell and Robert Frizzell and sister Betty Mayne; all of Mt. Airy, MD.

Ken enjoyed being busy. He could always be found tinkering with something on the family’s farm or watching for deer. He was an avid outdoorsman, even up to a few months prior to his passing. Ken also enjoyed tending to his garden, his many farm cats, and using one of his many tractors to take care of the farm. In his younger years he enjoyed bowling, playing softball, crabbing, fishing, and hunting. Most recently one of his favorite past times was watching his grandsons play baseball.

Visitation for family and friends will be held at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA., 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Sykesville, MD 21784 (Beside South Carroll High School) on Saturday, January 31, 2026 from 10 am – 12 Noon with funeral service at 12 Noon; with Rev. Paul Leatherman and pastor Billy Horton officiating.

A private interment will be in Meadow Branch Cemetery in Westminster, MD.
