Karen Ann Grimm age 66 of Mt. Airy, Maryland passed away on January 19, 2026, at Carroll County Hospital in Westminster, MD. Karen was the spouse of Charles “Buckey” Grimm. She was born in Washington, D.C. on April 3, 1959, to Thomas C Hammett and Virginia Ingram.

Affectionately known as Grammy, a title she adored, she was a long-time homemaker who enjoyed Gardening, collecting various knick-knacks, Antiquing and doting on friends and family. Karen loved watching Old Mystery Movies and Television shows. Over the years she volunteered at various organizations such as Girl Scouts and Boys Scouts of America. In General she would seek out anyone or anyplace that needed help and she would just be there for whatever they needed. She was the Axis around which the family revolved.

She was predeceased by her Daughter Cheryl Lynn Grimm, and is survived by her Brother William Hammett, Husband Charles “Buckey” Grimm, and Children Charles H Grimm III, Michael Alan Grimm, Stephen Thomas Grimm (Kendall), Joseph Francis Grimm, and William Franklin Grimm (Tally) as well as 5 Grandchildren.

Services will be Conducted at St. Michaels Catholic Church 1125 St. Michaels Road, Mt. Airy MD. 21771 on Monday, February 2, 2026, at 11:00 am, Interment will be at St. Michaels Cemetery. The Family will receive friends at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Sykesville, MD. 21784 from 6-8 pm on Saturday, January 31, 2026 .
