Joanne Louise Ferguson

Joanne L. Ferguson (nee Crouthamel), 84 of Westminster, MD passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at her home.

She was the spouse of 52 years to the late Howard F. Ferguson Jr.

Born October 17, 1940, in Baltimore, MD the daughter of the late James H. Crouthamel and the late Etta R. Crouthamel (nee Green), and the sister to the late Ronald J. Crouthamel Jr.

She worked at J.C.Penney, London Fog, and Allstate. She was a Sunday School teacher at Westminster Baptist Church for many years. She enjoyed reading the Bible, and historical non-fiction. Hobbies also include crocheting and cross stitching.

Survived by her Son William L. Ferguson of Union Bridge, and Daughter Coreen E. Ferguson of Westminster, MD, and Sister Rita G. Crouthamel of Sykesville MD; Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews which she loved dearly.

The Family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 from 4:00 PM-7:00PM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. 1212 West Old Liberty Road Sykesville, MD 21784 (beside South Carroll High School), where funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at 10:00 AM.

Interment at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Finksburg, MD.
