Hilda Barnes Haugh 87 of Hampstead formerly of Winfield
Hilda Barnes Haugh passed away on November 1, 2012 at the Dove House. Ms. Haugh was born February 15, 1925 in Sykesville, MD the daughter of the late Floyd (Buck) and Esther Pickett Barnes.
She was a graduate of Sykesville High School. She worked at several jobs, including the Carroll County School System. Her last job was as a cashier at McDougal’s Drug Store in Eldersburg
Growing up she attended Messiah Lutheran Church and later on when she moved to Gaither, she attended Gaither United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Old Bonn-ette Club of Sykesville. She had been an active member of Winfield Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and the Freedom District Lioness Club.
Surviving are a son Eric Haugh and a sister-in-law, Nancy T. Barnes and several cousins. She is predeceased by her brother Sewell (Buck) Barnes
