Gilbert Ashley

Gilbert D. Ashley, age 67, of Woodbine, died Thursday April 5, 2007 at his home. He was born December 30, 1939 in Yonkers , New York , the son of Roy Smith Ashley of Woodbine, and the late Daisy Marie Ashley (nee Roten). He was a Shipping Clerk for Arundel Corp.-Greenspring Quarry. He was a member of Teamsters Local #311 for many years. He contributes to the Boy Scouts of America Winfield Troop #733. He was the husband of Lauretta Ann Ashley (nee Hurley) married on August 2, 1958 . He was the father of Theresa A. Tracey of Libertytown, and Todd Ashley of Woodbine. Brother of Darlene Franklin. Also survived by two grandsons, three granddaughters, one niece, 3 nephews, 2 grand nieces and 1 grand nephew and numerous aunts and uncles. Funeral Service will be Monday April 9, 2007 at 10:00 AM at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA 1212 W. Old Liberty Road , Winfield (Beside South Carroll High School) with the Rev. Arthur Monroe of Morgan Chapel U.M. Church in Woodbine officiating. Interment Lake View Memorial Park , Sykesville , MD. Friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA 1212 W. Old Liberty Road Winfield (Beside South Carroll High School) on Saturday from 3-5 & 7-9 PM.
