Geraldine P. Lang (nee Malinski), 93 of Westminster, Maryland passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 28, 2026 at Atlee Hill of Westminster, MD. She was born April 20, 1933, in Baltimore, MD, the daughter of the late John Malinski and the late Stella Malinski. She was the loving wife of the late Roland D. Lang Sr. After a brief stay in El Paso, TX in support of Roland Sr.’s United States Army career, Geraldine settled in Woodlawn Heights with her husband Roland and started a family.
They moved to Westminster, MD upon Roland’s retirement where she enjoyed flower gardening, doll collecting, raising Toy Shelty Collies, and lived close to her sons & their families. They would travel to places they both always wanted to see, share memorable moments with family and friends, as they lived in Westminster MD. She would also work for many years as a Greeter at the Westminster Walmart where she became pretty well known to the Westminster community, for her gracious and pleasant demeaner as she assisted the customers.
A devoted wife to the late Roland Sr. for 62 years, she is survived by her sons Roland D. Lang, Jr. and wife Beverly of Westminster, and Dennis C. Lang & wife Shirley of Eldersburg. She is also survived by her grandchildren Ryan, Matthew, Jessica & Kiersten Lang
Viewing will be held on Friday June 5, 2026 from 10 am -12 pm, with the Funeral service at 12 Noon at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home, 1212 W Old Liberty Rd, Winfield, MD 21784. A Celebration of Life luncheon will follow after the Funeral Service at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home.
A private Internment will follow on Tuesday June 9 at Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery where she will join Roland Sr. in their final resting place.
