Died Wednesday, March 6, 2018 at his home.
Born June 5, 1939 in Baltimore, MD.
Served in the USMC then worked 39 years surveying for the State Highway Administration. A devout walker, George walked 5 miles each day until recently. He created beautiful stained-glass, often given as gifts. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Joy B. Dryer, daughters Amy and Alison and their respective husbands, Sean McLaughlin and Jason Hoylman. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Declan and Fiona McLaughlin and Wylie Hoylman. Memorial Services will be held Monday, March 19, 2018 10:30 AM at Ward’s Chapel United Methodist Church, 11023 Liberty Rd. Randallstown, MD 21133. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Ward’s Chapel United Methodist Church Mission Fund. Arrangements by Burrier-Queen Funeral Home and Crematory, www.burrier-queen.com
