Frederick Carl Sebly, age 70, of Mt. Airy, died Saturday, January 7, 2017 at his home.
He was born October 17, 1946 in Baltimore, MD the son of the late Emil Joseph Sebly and the late Margaret Meehan Sebly.
He was the husband of Brenda Jane Sebly (nee Bryant).
He served in the US Navy- Naval Submarine Base for 6 years. He was a retired Mechanical Engineer for Digital Receiver Technology, Inc. (DRT), he was a NRA Instructor; enjoyed working at home and in the yard, loved nature, hiking and reading.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughter Michelle Sebly of Ridgely, MD., son Frederick Sebly and wife Anna Marie of Stevensville, MD., Daughter Cynthia White of Easton, MD., son Daniel Sebly and wife Laura of Greensboro, MD., Son Andrew Sebly and wife Sarah of Millersville, MD., step-son John Lange of Cockeysville, MD., step daughter Jennifer Folger and husband Joseph of Haslett, MI. and Stepson Paul Lange of Baltimore; and 9 grandchildren; brother of Robert Sebly of Bearsville, NY, Joanne Sebly of Centreville, MD, Donna Sebly and husband Jim of Belair, MD., Jeanne Arnold and husband Chuck of Ellicott City, MD., and Mark Sebly of Texas.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday, January 12, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Ebenezer U.M. Church, 4901 Woodbine Road, Sykesville, MD 21784 with Rev. Judith A. Emerson officiating.
Interment with Military Honors will be in Ebenezer U.M. Church Cemetery, Sykesville, MD.
