F. Marie Jacobs (nee McCabe), age 87, of Woodbine, formerly of Baltimore, MD-Hill Top Area, died, Friday, October 25, 2013 at Brinton Woods Nursing Home in Sykesville, MD.
She was born December 12, 1925 in Baltimore, MD the daughter of the late James Frederick McCabe and the late Hazel May Sanner McCabe.
She was the wife of the late George Howard “Jake” Jacobs.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of Elders Baptist Church in Eldersburg, MD, where she was a Sunday School Teacher, Choir member, Bible Study Teacher. She also was the President resident and Bible Study Leader at Brinton Woods Nursing Home. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She also raised numerous foster children along with her own.
She was the mother of Howard Jacobs of Woodbine, Marie Billie Masaberg of Chambersburg, PA, Richard Hughes of Randallstown, Fred Jacobs of Greencastle, PA, Bambie Jacobs of Baltimore, Dwyn Fleischer of Westminster, and Tina Dekle of Louisburg, NC.
Sister of the late Hazel Raiman.
Also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be at Elders Baptist Church, 1216 Liberty Road Sykesville, MD on Monday, October 28, 2013 at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Jim Edmonson officiating.
Interment Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Gamber, MD
