Estelle Sevier, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and active member of her Mount Olive United Methodist Church community, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family and friends, on December 11th, 2025.

Born Estelle Margaret Abel on November 8th, 1946, in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the youngest child of the late Harry Abel and Mary Abel (nee Williams). She grew up on Madison Street in East Baltimore and attended St. Andrews School. She graduated in 1964 from the Institute of Notre Dame (IND) and went on to earn her nursing diploma and RN from Mercy Hospital in 1968.

Her professional life was marked by dedication to healthcare. She worked at Mercy and St. Agnes Hospitals before managing several podiatry practices around Baltimore for Drs. Albert Shoumer and Joseph Werner. She retired in 2001 to spend more time with her family and grandchildren.

In her retirement, Estelle found joy in simple pleasures, including her family, her beloved pugs, service to her Mount Olive United Methodist Church, and Bible studies. She was a cherished presence in her church community and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Estelle is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Ken Sevier; her children, Chris DeBoy (Alissa), Paul DeBoy (Paul Dawson), Ann Mancha (David), Todd Sevier (Suzanne), and Brandon Sevier (Jenn); and her grandchildren, Sam and Jack Mancha, Saoirse and Patrick DeBoy, and Shannon and Owen Sevier.
