Elmer Raiman

Elmer K. Raiman 86 of Finksburg, MD, died Thursday January 15, 2009 at the Dove House in Westminster, MD. He was the spouse of Hazel May McCabe Raiman of Finksburg. Mr. Raiman was born August 31, 1922 in Chicago, IL the son of the late Joseph and late Rose Przygoda Raiman. He was a Commercial Construction Superintendent and also a Farmer. Mr. Raiman and his wife were founding members of Emanuel Baptist Church in Gamber MD . They were also members of Elders Baptist Church. Mr. Raiman enjoyed gardening. He served in the US Coast Guard during WWII. He was also a Disaster Relief Volunteer with the Southern Baptist Convention. In addition to his wife he is survived by 3 daughters and their spouses, Shawnee Huff, Pawnee Camp and Cherokee Ryan, Grandchildren: Ken, Tim, Dakota and Faith, Great-grandchilden: Gabriel, Desmond, Lily, and Elias. Brother Leroy Raiman. Funeral Services will be held Monday 12 noon at Elders Baptist Church, 1216 Liberty Rd. Eldersburg, MD 21784. Interment will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Gamber, MD. The family will receive friends Saturday and Sunday 3-5 PM at Burrier_Queen Funeral Home and Crematory, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD 21784. Flowers are welcome but those desiring may make contributions to the Dove House 292 Stoner Ave. Westminster, MD 21157.
