Edward George Sawaya, Jr., age 80, of Westminster, MD, entered eternal rest peacefully at home on Wednesday, December 2, 2015.
He was born November 25, 1935 in Michigan City, Indiana, the son of the late Edward G. Sawaya, Sr. and the late Ramona (Salem) Sawaya.
Survived by wife, Marilyn (White) Sawaya of 44 years; also survived by his brother, Fred Sawaya of CA, brother , Robert Sawaya of AZ, sister, Mona Levine and husband Larry of PA; sister in law Sharon Sawaya of IN and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins; preceded in death by brother, Sam Sawaya and his sister, Sonya Panas.
Ed, known to many as Eddie Boy or Mr. Ed, touched many lives with his caring heart, fun sense of humor and contagious laugh.
Born and raised in Indiana & Arizona; he & Marilyn lived in the Westminster area for the past 37 years. He enjoyed traveling, hunting, car racing, and outdoor activities, including raising Limosin steers, and working in the yard, He was in the U.S. Navy Reserves in Tucson, Arizona from 1954-1962; Employed as Industrial Engineer with Westinghouse for almost 30 years—retired when he was 60. He was former member of Winfield-Taylorsville Lions Club.
Dedicated to his faith & member of St. John Catholic Church in Westminster, trust everyone who met Ed will cherish good memories of him as much as we treasure them.

A Memorial Service is planned for Spring 2016.
