Donna Jean Tegeler

Donna Jean Tegeler (nee Hoerl), 81 of Westminster, MD passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2025.

Donna was born June 23, 1944, in Catonsville, MD the daughter of the late Melvin Hoerl Sr. and the late Muriel Hoerl (nee Cosden)

Beloved wife of the late Walter S. Tegeler Jr.; devoted mother of Walter III & Debbie Tegeler, Donald & Susie Tegeler, Michele & Chuck Garrett and Steven & Peggy Tegeler; sister of Don & Carol Hoerl, the late Melvin Jr. & Gerta Hoerl and Sandy & Kenny Kelly; Loving Mommom of Donald Jr., Michael, Stephanie, Walter IV, Trey, Rebecca, Kyle and the late Christina; great grandmother of Wyatt, Wayde, Liam, Jack, Brooke, Aubrey, Colton, Waylon, Lane, Caroline, Avery, Josie, & River.

The family will receive friends on Friday, November 14, 2025, from 3-8 PM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. 1212 West Old Liberty Road Sykesville, MD 21784 (beside South Carroll High School), where funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 11 AM with a visitation from 10 -11 AM.

Interment to follow at Meadow Branch Cemetery, Westminster, MD.

Immediately following the graveside the family will receive friends and family at the Winfield Fire hall 1320 W Old Liberty Rd, Sykesville, MD 21784

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Donna Tegeler’s name to SJM Cardiac Services Staff Education Fund and mailed to UM St. Joseph Medical Center Foundation 7601 Osler Drive Towson, MD 21204
