David L. Tabler, age 84, of Woodbine, died Sunday, November 6, 2005 at Pleasant View Nursing Home in Mt. Airy , MD.
He was born February 2, 1921 in Etchinson , MD the son of the late Thomas Tabler and the late Marion Warthen Tabler.
He was the husband of Janet F. Tabler (nee Butler ).
He was a Technical Sergeant in the US Army from 1942-1946 during WWII. In combat in the European Theater of Operations) Sicily , Anzio , and Southern France ), with Company ‘F”, 157th Infantry Regiment, 45th Infantry Division. He received two Purple Heart Medals and a Bronze Star Medal. He loved hunting and fishing and going to Auctions.

Brother of Audrey Pollack of Bel Air, MD and the late Carlton Tabler.
Brother in law of Shirley Tabler of Rockville .
Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held Thursday, November 10, 2005 at 11:00 AM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Road , Winfield (Beside South Carroll High School) with the Rev. O.F. “Bud” Kibbe officiating.
Interment will be in Morgan Chapel U.M. Church Cemetery , Woodbine, MD
