David Bruce McGregor

David Bruce McGregor, 77, of New Windsor, MD passed away, on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at Sinai Hospital.

He was the beloved husband of Ginger K. McGregor whom he was married to for 55 years.

Born December 9, 1947, in Dorsey, MD the son of the late Howard David McGregor and the late Helen Price.

Corp. David McGregor was a veteran of the United States Marine and received the Navy Achievement Medal, and a Purple Heart award and was wounded in Vietnam. He was an active member of the American Legion and the VFW of Westminster.

David worked for General Motors part division and was a Union Representative & employee for 13 years, he also worked for Toyota for 3 and a half years, Acme Paper & Supply Company for 17 years as the warehouse manager, then went to work for Ciena Corporation as a facilities manager for 12 years all before retiring in 2013.

Surviving in addition to his wife are children Kelly McGregor of Taneytown, MD, Gregory McGregor of New Windsor, MD, and Jamey McGregor of Westminster, MD; grandchildren Noah McGregor of Hampstead, MD and Kimberly McGregor of New Windsor, MD; great grandson Moe Blizzard of New Windsor, MD. Also survived by his siblings, nieces and nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. 1212 West Old Liberty Road Sykesville, MD 21784 (beside South Carroll High School), where funeral service will be held on Wednesday July 2, 2025, at 11 AM.

Interment at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery.
