David Wayne Mattingly, 71, of Point of Rocks, MD and formerly of Suitland, MD, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2026.
The beloved husband of Lisa Mattingly (nee Gillette), they have been together for 20 years.
Born November 14, 1954, in Suitland, MD the son of the late Harvey Wayne Mattingly, Sr, and the late Mary Mattingly (nee Moore).
David was a member of the Local 602 Steamfitter for 50 years. He enjoyed playing baseball and golf, and especially loved playing with his grandkids.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his stepchildren Steven Geyer, Robbie Geyer and Michael Geyer; his brothers Jimmy Mattingly and John Mattingly; and his grandchildren Carson, Cade and Riggs. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his siblings - Harvey Mattingly, Virginia (Ginger Bassett, Ronald Mattingly.
All services are private.
