David Blessing

David Lee Blessing 58 of Sykesville, MD, died Suddenly July 26, 2011. He was the spouse of Susan C. (Hayden) Blessing. He was born December 29, 1952 in West Virginia the son of Raymond and Dorothy Mae (Wallace) Blessing. Mr. Blessing was the Owner and President of Interlock Steel in Mt. Airy, MD. He was a member of the Baltimore American Indian Center Enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren fishing and was an avid Boxing Fan and Sponsor. Surviving in addition to his wife are Son and daughter-in-law John Allen and Allison Blessing of Westminster, Daughter and son-in-law Brandy Lee and Jason Blessing of Ellicott City, Son Steven T. Dozier of Westminster, Daughter and son-in-law Jennifer and Brent Horter of Linthicum, Daughter Kim Dozier of Westminster, Grandchildren Zachary Allen and Troy David Blessing, Kylie Drew and Tyler David Horter. Preceded in death by Daughter Tracy Jeanette Blessing. Graveside Services will take place Saturday July 30, 2011 10:30 AM at Meadowridge Memorial Park, 7250 Washington Blvd. Elkridge, MD 21705. The family will receive friends at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home and Crematory, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD 21784 on Friday 5 to 8 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Baltimore Humane Society, 1601 Nicodemus Rd. Reisterstown, MD 21136 or Baltimore American Indian Center, 113 S. Broadway Baltimore, MD 21231.
