Charles Ronald Carroll known by many as “Pop”, age 70, of Woodbine, died suddenly Saturday, January 25, 2014, at his home.
He was born August 8, 1943 in Maryland the son of the late Henry Carroll and late Marie Elizabeth Puff Carroll.
He worked at Transco for 22 years retiring in 1988 and started his own business, “Ronnie’s Welding”. He was a hard worker and a loving man. Back in the day he loved to race at 75/80 and then loved his trips on his motorcycle.
He is survived by his loving wife Barbara Day Carroll.
He is survived by his son Chuck Carroll, daughter Judy Carroll and like a father to Barbara Ann Keith. Grandchildren Brittany Carroll, Cheyenne Carroll, Jesse "Bud" Sidebottom, Austin, Cody, and Dustin Keith. Great Grandchildren Kyleigh and Dylan Woods. Brother Henry "Shorty" Carroll and wife Mary, Brother Gene Carroll and wife Betty, Sister Mary Ann Alban and husband Richard and sister Marie Givens, Predeceased by 1 brother and 1 sister.
Friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Sykesville, MD (Beside South Carroll High School) on Tuesday and Wednesday from 3-5 & 7-9 PM.; where Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at 12:30 PM.
