The son of the late William Lawrence and Late Eleanor Smyrk Blocher.
Mr. Blocher was a retired Sales Representative for the Nabisco Company. A veteran of the US Army Air Corp, a Member of Freedom Lodge A.F. & A.M. of Eldersburg, MD
Active in the Gideons and a member of Chapel Gate Presbyterian Church.
Surviving him are his sons: Charles H. Blocher, Jr. of Taneytown, MD Donald L. Blocher of Westminster, MD Bruce C. Blocher of Adamstown, MD , 2 grandsons and 4 granddaughters. A sister: Betsy Myers of Belair, MD
Funeral Services will take place Monday, November 17, 2003 11 AM at BURRIER-QUEEN FUNERAL HOME, 1212 West Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD with Rev. Ronald E. Steel of Chapel Gate Presbyterian Church officiating.
Interment will be in the Lorraine Park Cemetery, Baltimore, MD
The Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM
Freedom Lodge #112 A.F. & A.M. will conduct a memorial service at 7:30 PM on Sunday.
