Charles Patrick Adams, age 90, of Taneytown, Maryland died peacefully on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at Autumn Lake Health and Rehab Center in Manchester, Maryland. He was born on March 17, 1935, in Omaha, Nebraska.

Charles Patrick was the spouse of Christina Louise Adams, (nee Klein) who proceeded him in death on May 14, 2022. Charles and Christina were married for 65 years.

Prior to their marriage, Charles served in the United States Army as a missile technician and while stationed in Granite Maryland, met and married Christina on April 27, 1957. They then moved to Millard, Nebraska and lived there for several years prior to returning to Granite, Maryland in 1968. In 1979 they moved to Randallstown, Maryland. In 1998 they moved to Westminster, Maryland, until the passing of Christina in 2022 when Charles and his son William moved to Taneytown, Maryland.

Before returning to Maryland in 1968 he was employed by the R. C. Smith Company, Ralston, Nebraska where he repaired televisions and home appliances. He was a Master Electrician and served as the manager of the Otto Carl Klein Electrical Company in Randallstown and served as a master technician for Charles A. Klein and Sons of Eldersburg, Maryland. Prior to his retirement he was the sole proprietor owner operator of C. P. Adams Electrical.

Charles was a member of the Liberty Owings Mills Exchange Club where he enjoyed traveling to attend District and National Conventions across the county.

In addition to his spouse, Charles is proceeded in death by his parents Clifford and Nettie (nee Morehead) Adams and sister Barbara (nee Adams) Sears. He is survived by his children, William Patrick Adams of Taneytown, Donald James Adams and wife Pam of Eldersburg, Christina Louise Hoffman and Jim Rowe of Manchester, Patricia Ann Corey and husband Kelly of Hudson, Mari Kathryn Mueller and husband Charles of Manchester, and Janice Annette Schwing and husband Charles of Westminster.

Charles enjoyed spending time hunting, fishing, and boating on the lake with his 16 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 20, 2026, from 3 to 5 PM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home and Crematory, located at 1212 West Old Liberty Road, Winfield, Maryland 21784. A prayer service will follow at 5 PM.

Interment will be at Garrison Forest Veteran’s Cemetery in Owings Mills, Maryland on Monday February 23, 2026 at 10 AM.
