Catherine E. Schrider (nee Jenkins), 90 of Taylorsville, MD, passed away peacefully at home, Tuesday, February 20, 2018.
Born March 7, 1927 in Maryland the daughter of the late Dewey Jenkins and the late Iris Jenkins (nee Keeler). She was a life long resident of Carroll County, Maryland.
She was the loving wife of the late Charles “Marlin” Schrider.
Catherine is survived by five daughters Judith Starner, Phyllis and husband Joseph Eyler, Cathy and husband Roland Martin, Shelly and husband Robert LaPenna, and Kaleen and husband Rick Bynaker. Loving grandmother to Tracey Pool, Treesa Wolfe, and Tonya Davis. Loving great-grandmother of Lexie Wolfe and Melody Davis. Devoted sister of James and wife Betty Ibex, Sue Ibex-Patchel. Also survived by a niece Liza Patchel and other Loving nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Preceded in death by her brother Milton Jenkins and her grandson Eugene Martin.
Friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA., 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Sykesville, MD (Beside South Carroll High School) on Saturday, February 24, 2018 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM, at which time the funeral service will begin.
Interment Morgan Chapel U.M. Church Cemetery, Woodbine, MD.
