Caroline Rimbey Kauffman

Caroline Rimbey Kauffman, 72, of New Windsor, MD passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at the Dove House in Westminster, MD.

She was the beloved wife of Larry Kauffman for 45 years.

Born August 24, 1953, in Baltimore, MD the daughter of the late Willard Rimbey and the late Carrie Rimbey (nee Devilbiss).

Caroline worked with Hospice for 30 plus years. She loved her animals, crocheting and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to her husband is her son Bradley Kauffman & wife Jamie; 4 grandchildren Jennifer, Erica, Emily & Julie; and her cat Mazie. Also survived by numerous other family.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. 1212 West Old Liberty Road Sykesville, MD 21784 (beside South Carroll High School), where funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2026 at 11 AM.

Interment at St. James Cemertery.
