Carol A. Mullinix

Carol A. Mullinix (nee Oswald), 66 of Frederick, MD formerly of Rosedale, MD died Sunday May 24, 2026, at Frederick Health (Memorial) Hospital.

She was born January 2, 1960, in Baltimore, MD the daughter of the late Raymond J. Oswald and Patricia A. (Simm) Oswald.

She was the wife of Brian R. Mullinix for 40 + years. Carol was employed at the Naval Medical Logistics Command, part of the Department of Defense, retiring after 42 years of service in 2024.

Surviving in addition to her husband are daughters Trish (Tylor) Hykes of Dillsburg, PA, Sarah Mullinix of Frederick, MD, and Rebecca Mullinix also of Frederick. Also surviving are three grandchildren and four siblings. Predeceased by her parents and eldest brother, Mike.

Visitation to be held at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road Sykesville, MD 21784 (Beside South Carroll High School) on June 11, 2026, from 2pm-5pm.
